Let’s just say that the New York Times story http://www.nytimes.com/2008/02/21/us/politics/21mccain.html?_r=3&hp=&oref=slogin&pagewanted=print&oref=slogin about John McCain having a “romantic relationship” with a female lobbyist is true. Why is it just now being released by the New York Times? According to Richard Wolfe of Newsweek, this so-called scandal has been the talk of the town in Washington for weeks if not months. Only now that McCain has all but won the Republican nomination, this crummy little propaganda machine decides to destroy him. Keep in mind also that in spite of having known of this possible ethics violation that is, being romantically involved with a lobbyist, the New York Times endorsed him anyway. Yeah, that’s right, so what is that all about? Does the New York Times endorse corruption? Of course they do, they must because they themselves are corrupt. I have no idea if this crap is true or not but one thing I know is true: I trust the New York Times about as much as I like having teeth pulled.
For the record, McCain and the lobbyist in question have flatly denied the allegations by the propaganda machine. So, who do we believe? I can’t get passed the fact and it can’t be stressed enough that the New York Times knew of this story months ago and still endorsed him. What the? It makes no sense. I think this is an indictment on the media. They are trying to pick the next President of the United States. They manipulate the news to suite their agenda and destroy those who oppose their agenda. Screw them.
Of course Olbermoron is having a field day with this. His pants are all wet.
